Remember it is the responsibility of the Lector to obtain a substitute if he or she cannot minister at an assigned Mass. If, for any reason, at any Mass you are attending there is not a Lector please come forward and Lector. Let the Priest know that you will Lector.

This is an important ministry and we are representatives of Christ. When on the altar Fr Foley would like you to dress appropriately, like for an evening out. Thank you for your help in this ministry.
