Cub Scouts: This program is open to boys in the 1st thru the 5th grade. Besides the regular meeting schedule, they are involved in Summer Camps (Goshen), the Pine Wood Derby Race, crafts, nature activities, the Blue and Gold Banquet, etc. 1st Grade (TIGERS) have the motto: "search, discover, share." 2nd Grade (WOLFS), 3rd Grade (BEARS), and 4th Grade (WEBELOS) have the motto: "do your best." The contact person for Cub Scout Pack #1829 St. Mary of the Assumption Teen Club: This group consists of high school students interested in sharing their time and talents with the community and other teens. The group meets every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at the Parish Hall between the hours of 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Activities include Easter Egg Hunt, Visits to Mother Theresa's Soup Kitchen, Ski Trip, retreats, and lock in's. Deacon Frank Klco, and Mrs. Trudy Stanek are the adult moderators.
