Cub Scouts: This program is open to boys in the 1^st thru the 5^th grade. Besides the regular meeting schedule, they are involved in Summer Camps (Goshen), the Pine Wood Derby Race, crafts, nature activities, the Blue and Gold Banquet, etc. 1^st Grade (TIGERS) have the motto: "search, discover, share." 2^nd Grade (WOLFS), 3^rd Grade (BEARS), and 4^th Grade (WEBELOS) have the motto: "do your best." St. Mary of the Assumption Teen Club: This group consists of high school students interested in sharing their time and talents with the community and other teens. The group meets every 2^nd and 4th Sunday of the month at the Parish Hall between the hours of 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Activities include Easter Egg Hunt, Visits to Mother Theresa's Soup Kitchen, Ski Trip, retreats, and lock in's.  Any high school teenager interested in becoming an active teen club member can contact the rectory at (301-627-3255).
